Product Introduction

This instrument set is a specialized surgical kit designed for anterior cervical plate fixation procedures, such as Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) and Anterior Cervical Corpectomy and Fusion (ACCF).

It includes over 20 precision instruments, covering the entire surgical workflow from exposure, plate contouring, screw implantation to post-operative suturing.

Made from high-quality stainless steel, the instruments offer excellent corrosion resistance and biocompatibility, ensuring precise stabilization in the highly mobile cervical region.

The kit integrates functions such as retraction, positioning, drilling, and tapping, and features a modular design that streamlines surgical procedures, reduces intraoperative time, and minimizes the risk of spinal cord and vertebral artery injury.

Features
  • Material Advantages: Core instruments are made from high-grade stainless steels such as 05Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb, 420B, 316L, and 304. They exhibit high fatigue resistance and feature electropolished surfaces to reduce tissue friction and trauma.
  • Precision Positioning System: Equipped with a unidirectional (universal) drill guide, supporting angle adjustment to accommodate the anatomical characteristics of the uncovertebral joints.
  • Adjustable Design: Depth-adjustable drill bits ranging from 10 to 20 mm, suitable for varying vertebral body thickness (average 14–16 mm).
  • Ergonomic Handle: Quick-release D-shaped handle with rubber grip enhances handling comfort and reduces surgeon fatigue during prolonged procedures.
  • Modular Storage: The instrument case features a compartmentalized tray system, organized according to the surgical workflow to reduce time spent locating instruments.
Advantages
  • Enhanced Surgical Efficiency: Integrated instrument set reduces the frequency of tool changes and shortens overall surgery time.
  • Improved Accuracy: The positioning pin inserter used in conjunction with C-arm fluoroscopy significantly improves screw placement accuracy compared to traditional freehand techniques.
  • Reduced Complications: Contouring pliers enable precise shaping of the bone plate to match physiological curvature, reducing the risk of esophageal compression.
  • Cost Efficiency: One set covers surgeries across all cervical levels, eliminating the need for multiple specialized kits and reducing hospital consumable costs.

Application

Compatible Implants
  • The anterior cervical plate fixation system includes titanium plates (single-level, two-level, three-level, four-level, and five-level), and screws (fixed-angle self-drilling screws, fixed-angle self-tapping screws, variable-angle self-drilling screws, and variable-angle self-tapping screws).

Applicable Procedures
  • Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) for cervical disc herniation;
  • Anterior fixation for cervical vertebral fractures;
  • Anterior decompression for cervical spinal stenosis;
  • Cervical reconstruction after tumor resection;
  • Stabilization surgery for degenerative cervical instability.
