The Basic Major Orthopedic Instrument Set is a comprehensive orthopedic surgical set configured for major bone, joint, skeletal reconstruction and trauma procedures. It combines heavy-duty bone-working instruments with retractors, bone-holding forceps, hemostatic forceps, scissors, needle holders, suction tubes and supporting instruments.
The configuration includes Hibbs osteotomes and gouges in multiple sizes, orthopedic rongeurs, bone cutting and holding forceps, Lowman bone clamps and specialized retractors, providing a broad instrument selection for bone preparation, exposure, fixation support, tissue handling, dissection and wound closure.
