The Basic Rib Instrument Set is a specialized thoracic surgical set configured for rib exposure, retraction, cutting and manipulation during chest wall procedures. The set combines dedicated rib instruments with lung retractors, grasping forceps, bone-cutting instruments and supporting surgical instruments.
Its configuration provides instruments for controlled chest wall exposure, rib elevation, bone cutting, lung retraction, tissue handling and suturing during cardiothoracic and related thoracic procedures.

Bone Cutting & Preparation: Includes Stille-Liston bone cutting forceps, Bethune rib shears and a Leksell-Stille rongeur.
Lung & Tissue Handling: Includes Collin-Duval lung grasping forceps, Allis-Willauer tissue forceps and a DeBakey multipurpose clamp.
Suturing: Includes a Crile-Wood needle holder with the specified tungsten carbide jaws.
