Pediatric Laparotomy Instrument Set
The Pediatric Laparotomy Instrument Set is a specialized surgical configuration designed to support open abdominal procedures in pediatric patients. It combines pediatric-pattern retractors and delicate tissue-handling instruments with general surgical instruments required for exposure, dissection, hemostasis, suction and wound closure.
The configuration includes pediatric Deaver and Baby Farabeuf retractors, a light-pattern Balfour abdominal retractor, delicate Baby Allis and Gemini-Mixter forceps, fine scissors and multiple tissue-handling instruments. A range of supporting retractors, needle holders, hemostatic forceps and suction instrumentation complements the set for pediatric abdominal procedures.
