The Thoracotomy Instrument Set is a comprehensive thoracic surgical configuration designed to support open chest procedures requiring rib spreading, lung retraction, tissue dissection, vascular handling, suction and wound closure.
The set combines specialized thoracic instruments including an Allison lung retractor, Burford-Finochietto rib spreader, Bailey rib contractor, Doyen and Matson rib elevators, Collin-Duval lung grasping forceps and Mixter thoracic forceps. A selection of DeBakey vascular instruments, retractors, scissors, needle holders and general surgical forceps provides additional support for thoracic and pulmonary procedures.

Rib & Chest Wall Instrumentation: Includes a Burford-Finochietto rib spreader, Bailey rib contractor, Doyen rib elevators and rasps, Matson rib elevator and Alexander-Farabeuf periosteotome.
Lung Handling: Includes an Allison lung retractor and Collin-Duval lung grasping forceps for thoracic exposure and controlled lung tissue handling.
