The Thyroidectomy Instrument Set is a specialized surgical configuration designed to support thyroid and related neck procedures requiring controlled exposure, delicate dissection, tissue handling, hemostasis, suction and wound closure.
The set combines dedicated Lahey and Green thyroid retractors with Lahey tenaculum forceps, Cushing vein and nerve retractor, delicate Gemini-Mixter forceps and fine tissue-handling instruments. A selection of scissors, needle holders, skin hooks and hemostatic forceps provides supporting instrumentation for the different stages of thyroid surgery.

Tissue Handling: Includes Adson, Adson-Brown and Allis tissue forceps together with delicate Gemini-Mixter forceps.
Hemostasis & Clamping: Includes Lovelace, Halstead Mosquito, Crile-Rankin and Kelly forceps for different clamping and hemostatic requirements.
Suturing Instruments: Includes Webster and Crile-Wood needle holders with smooth jaws and specified tungsten carbide construction.
Suction & Supporting Instruments: Includes a Ferguson-Frazier suction tube, Foerster sponge forceps and Backhaus towel clamps to complement the surgical configuration.
